Ignazio Matzeu nasce a Lunamatrona (CA) nel 1960. Ignazio inizia la carriera artistica come autodidatta, dal 2004 al 2008 frequenta il Liceo Artistico F. Fois di Cagliari, nel 2008 si trasferisce a Firenze dove frequenta l’Accademia di Belle Arti. Nel 2013, Ignazio si laurea con una valutazione di 110/110 e lode. Partecipa a concorsi e collettive tra Firenze, Fiesole e Prato. Opera menzionata alla Biennale Premio Artemisia del 2012 (Ancona). Opera premiata alla XXXIII edizione del "Premio Firenze" 2015, sez. Arti Visive. Dal 2016 insegna nella scuola superiore di secondo grado, vive e lavora a Firenze.

Ignazio Matzeu was born in Lunamatrona (CA) in 1960. Ignazio began his artistic career as a self-taught, from 2004 to 2008 he attended the F. Fois art school in Cagliari, and in 2008 he moved to Florence where he enrolled in the Academy of Fine Arts. In 2013, Ignazio graduated with a score of 110/110 cum laude. He participated in competitions and group exhibitions in Florence, Fiesole and Prato. His work was mentioned at the 2012 Artemisia Biennale Prize (Ancona) and awarded at the XXXIII edition of the "Premio Firenze" 2015, section of Visual Arts. Since 2016 he is an art teacher in secondary school and lives and works in Florence.
